A suspicious drone crashed into the outer wall of the Counter Terrorism Department headquarters in Lahore on Sunday, raising serious security concerns. Police confirmed the incident and said the drone appeared to be used for surveillance of the high-security facility.

According to officials, the drone came from the Jallo More side. It struck the outer wall of the CTD headquarters and fell to the ground. Security personnel stationed at the site acted quickly. They recovered the drone right away and took it into custody.

Police examined the device on the spot. They found that the cameras attached to the drone were still working. The battery lights were also operational at the time of recovery. This detail led officers to believe the drone was actively gathering information when it crashed.

Authorities strongly suspect that unidentified persons sent the drone toward the CTD headquarters for reconnaissance. The goal seemed to be surveying restricted areas inside the facility. Such an attempt on a sensitive location has prompted a full investigation.

Police have opened a probe from every angle. Investigators are working to identify who operated the drone and what the exact purpose was. The security team at the CTD headquarters has also filed an official application at the Harbanspura police station. They have requested legal action against those responsible for the breach.

This incident has drawn attention to the growing use of drones for unauthorized monitoring of government buildings. Security experts note that even small drones can collect detailed visual data if not stopped in time. The fact that the cameras and battery remained functional after the crash shows how advanced and prepared the operators may have been.

Local police continue to gather evidence and review available footage from nearby areas. They have not yet named any suspects. Officials urge the public to report any unusual drone activity near sensitive installations. The case remains under active investigation as authorities work to prevent similar security threats in the future.
