Field Marshal Asim Munir vows firm action against foreign backed threats in Balochistan
Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has made it clear that any foreign backed attempts to harm the progress of Balochistan will face a strong and decisive response. Speaking during a meeting with political leaders and notable figures from the province, he stressed that the present and future of Balochistan and Pakistan remain permanently linked.
According to a statement from the Inter Services Public Relations, Field Marshal Munir praised the talent, resilience and patriotism of the people of Balochistan. He noted that lasting peace and a clear national narrative are essential to unlock the province’s true economic strength. Only then can its rich human and natural resources turn into real prosperity for local communities.
The army chief highlighted that the youth of Balochistan form the most energetic and promising part of society. There is no shortage of talent or opportunities among them. Empowering young people and giving them a meaningful role in national progress remains central to long term development.
Field Marshal Munir identified Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan as foreign sponsored groups being used by hostile forces to create instability in Balochistan. These groups aim to block development and drive a wedge between the state and its people. He assured that such designs will be defeated through the collective will of the nation and a firm response from the state.
He also appreciated the role of local notables and community leaders in promoting peace, social harmony and constructive dialogue. Field Marshal Munir called for a complete and open effort to counter hostile propaganda, expose false stories and showcase the real progress and aspirations of Balochistan and its people.
He underlined that the future of the province lies solely in the hands of its own people. The political leadership and notables present reaffirmed their commitment to peace, development and prosperity. They pledged to stand with the state and armed forces against every foreign sponsored threat. The province’s leaders expressed strong determination to support people focused development that will bring lasting stability and growth to Balochistan.
