In a tragic industrial accident, a massive fire broke out at a firecracker storage facility in the Thrissur district of Kerala, southern India. The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, resulted in the deaths of at least eight people and left 15 others injured. According to local police chief Nakul Rajendra Deshmukh, two of the injured remain in critical condition.

This disaster marks the second deadly firecracker-related incident in India within just three days, following a similar explosion in Tamil Nadu on Sunday that claimed 20 lives.
