Vehari Theft Gang Busted by Police

Suspect in handcuffs after Vehari Theft Gang bust involving motorcycle theft and burglary cases

Vehari Police achieved a major breakthrough after dismantling a motorcycle theft gang involved in multiple criminal activities across Vehari and nearby areas.

The successful operation was carried out under the directions of District Police Officer Tasawur Iqbal. According to officials, the special team from Daniwal Police arrested two suspects and managed to trace 23 criminal cases linked to theft and burglary.

The arrested suspects were identified as Sajid Sardar, also known as Arsalan Slow, and Ali Raza Tauri. Police stated that the suspects had been actively involved in stealing motorcycles and carrying out burglaries in the city for a long time.

During the operation, police recovered stolen goods worth Rs1.13 million, including eight motorcycles, an LED television, a UPS with battery, two mobile phones, cash, and several other valuables. In addition, authorities also seized two illegal 30-bore pistols allegedly used by the suspects during criminal activities.

To crack the case, DPO Tasawur Iqbal formed a special investigation team under the supervision of SDPO Sadr Circle Jamshed Akram, while SHO Daniwal Mazhar Fareed Gondal led the field operation. Police used modern technology and IT-based tracking systems to identify and arrest the accused.

Following the recovery, a formal ceremony was held where the stolen property was returned to its rightful owners. Citizens appreciated the efforts of Vehari Police and praised their quick action in solving the cases.

Police officials confirmed that investigations are still ongoing and more important disclosures are expected in the coming days as the suspects are being interrogated.
