US President Donald Trump has highlighted what he describes as his 25 major achievements as the 2026 US midterm elections approach. In a post on Truth Social, Trump focused on immigration, economic policy, foreign affairs, energy and other areas of his administration.
Among the claims, Trump said the United States had recorded 16 consecutive months with zero releases of migrants caught crossing the southern border. His administration has promoted the figure as evidence of tougher border enforcement. However, independent fact checking has noted that zero releases does not mean zero illegal crossings, with border apprehensions and reported “gotaways” still ,occurring.
Trump also claimed his administration had sharply reduced refugee admissions, strengthened border security and taken tougher action against illegal immigration. The White House has similarly presented lower border crossings and increased enforcement as major results of his presidency.
On foreign policy, Trump highlighted US military action against Iran and claimed that Iran’s nuclear enrichment capability had been destroyed. He also presented his administration’s foreign policy efforts and several international agreements as major accomplishments.
Economic measures were another major part of the list. Trump pointed to tariffs imposed on trading partners, saying they were designed to encourage American manufacturing. He also highlighted tax and energy policies that his administration says are intended to support economic growth and domestic production.
