Pakistan has successfully carried out a training launch of its indigenously developed Fatah-4 cruise missile, marking another significant milestone in the country’s defence capabilities.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the test was conducted by the Army Rocket Force Command to improve the operational readiness of troops and to validate the performance of advanced systems integrated into the missile.

The Fatah-4 cruise missile is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational aids, enabling it to strike long-range targets with high precision. The military said the system has been designed to enhance both accuracy and survivability, making it a key asset in Pakistan’s strategic arsenal.

The successful training launch was widely praised by Pakistan’s top leadership. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and the chiefs of the armed forces congratulated the scientists, engineers, and military personnel involved in the project.

They commended the technical expertise, dedication, and commitment of all teams who contributed to the development and successful testing of the Fatah series missile systems.

This launch comes shortly after Pakistan successfully tested the Fateh-II missile system and the Pakistan Navy also conducted a precise live firing of the indigenous Taimoor air-launched cruise missile, an advanced anti-ship weapon.

The successful launch of the Fatah-4 cruise missile reflects Pakistan’s continued progress in developing modern indigenous defence technologies and strengthening its national security capabilities.
