Security forces successfully eliminated four Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists during a targeted operation in Balochistan’s Panjgur district on Monday. According to security sources, the raid took place in the Aphan-e-Koh and Prom areas after intelligence confirmed the presence of India-backed militants in the region.
Troops engaged the militants in a fierce exchange of fire. The intense confrontation resulted in the death of all four terrorists. Forces recovered a large cache of sophisticated weapons and ammunition from the site. Officials stated that such operations will continue without pause until every last terrorist is removed from Pakistani soil.
This successful action came only one day after another major incident near Kalat. Security personnel had foiled an attempt by terrorists to disrupt public movement on the N-25 highway. In that earlier operation, forces killed five militants and safely recovered 23 hostages. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed that the terrorists had set up an illegal checkpoint to abduct travelers, demand money, and seize vehicles. Troops responded quickly, neutralizing the threat and recovering weapons, ammunition, explosives, six trucks, three buses, and two cars from the hideout.
Pakistan has faced a rise in terror activities, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, since 2021. Just a day before the Panjgur operation, security forces killed eight militants in Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During that intense firefight, six Pakistan Army personnel, including Captain Abuzar Farooq and Lieutenant Sheraz Babar, embraced martyrdom while leading their troops from the front.
These back-to-back operations highlight the continuous efforts of security forces to protect citizens and maintain peace across restive regions. Authorities remain firm in their commitment to eliminate every threat posed by groups operating under the banners of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij. The recovery of advanced weaponry in Panjgur further underlines the seriousness of the challenge and the determination of the forces to dismantle such networks.
