Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has strongly vowed to crush the nefarious designs of foreign-backed proxies trying to destabilize Balochistan. In his address, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff emphasized that the security forces remain fully committed to bringing lasting peace to the province through consistent and decisive actions.
Speaking to participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, Field Marshal Munir highlighted the importance of national unity and public support. He made it clear that the armed forces, backed by law enforcement agencies and the resilient people of Pakistan, will continue targeted operations against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan until terrorism is completely eliminated from the country.
The army chief described foreign-sponsored proxies as persistent threats aiming to spread violence and undermine stability in Balochistan. However, he expressed full confidence that their plans would fail against the firm resolve of Pakistan’s armed forces and the unbreakable spirit of its citizens. He called Balochistan the pride of Pakistan, a region rich in natural resources and home to brave, patriotic people who form its greatest strength.
Field Marshal Munir also appreciated the ongoing development initiatives by federal and provincial governments. These projects focus on improving the socio-economic conditions of the province through an inclusive approach that puts people first. He praised the positive contributions of civil society, academia, media, and especially the youth in promoting national integration and long-term prosperity.
The session ended with open discussions where participants renewed their pledge to work together for Pakistan’s stability, progress, and sovereignty. This comes as security forces carried out successful intelligence-based operations in Mastung district, neutralizing several terrorists and arresting facilitators, including suicide bombers.
