Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, has made it clear that Pakistan will respond decisively to any form of border violation, whether direct or indirect. Speaking at the 17th National Workshop Balochistan held at the General Headquarters (GHQ), he reaffirmed that the nation’s sovereignty will be protected at all costs.
During his address, the Army Chief emphasized Balochistan’s economic potential and the key role of its youth in building a peaceful, united, and prosperous Pakistan. He noted that empowering local communities is vital for achieving long-term national stability and sustainable development.
Field Marshal Asim Munir also condemned hostile elements and India-backed groups, referring to them as Fitna-ul-Hind and Fitna-ul-Khawarij, who seek to create unrest in Balochistan. He stated that their malicious campaigns will fail because the people of Balochistan stand firmly with the armed forces in ensuring peace and progress.
He further explained that Pakistan’s desire for peace should not be mistaken for weakness. While the country continues to support regional cooperation and stability, it remains fully prepared to defend its borders against any threat.
The Army Chief concluded by urging the youth to play an active role in national development, highlighting the army’s ongoing commitment to security, progress, and inclusivity in Balochistan.
