Pakistan marked the first anniversary of Marka e Haq with renewed confidence as the armed forces vowed a stronger and more decisive response against any future aggression. The military leadership, government officials, and senior commanders paid tribute to the courage and professionalism displayed during last year’s conflict with India, describing it as a defining moment in the country’s modern military history.
According to the military’s media wing, the conflict strengthened national unity and highlighted the operational capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces, especially the Pakistan Air Force. The statement emphasized that Pakistan remains committed to peace and regional stability but is fully prepared to defend its sovereignty against any hostile action.
The Inter Services Public Relations praised the modernization efforts of the Pakistan Air Force and said advanced technologies, multi domain operations, and strategic planning had significantly improved the country’s defence preparedness. Officials stated that the armed forces continue investing in modern warfare capabilities to meet future security challenges.
Speaking at a ceremony held at Air Headquarters, Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu congratulated PAF personnel for their role during Marka e Haq. He claimed that Pakistan had delivered a full and effective response to Indian aggression and demonstrated superiority in air, electronic, and cyber warfare. He also credited Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his leadership during the conflict.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar described Marka e Haq as more than just a military achievement. He said it symbolized national unity, courage, and determination. Dar added that Pakistan’s response was measured, responsible, and fully aligned with international law and the country’s right to self defence.
The deputy prime minister further stressed that Pakistan seeks peace and diplomacy in South Asia but will never compromise on its dignity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He also called for unity and collective efforts to build a stronger Pakistan in defence, economy, education, and social development.
