The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a clear forecast for rising temperatures in Karachi starting Monday. Maximum temperatures in the port city are expected to climb between 36°C and 38°C in the coming days.

According to the Met Office, changing atmospheric conditions may reduce the strength of the usual sea breezes. This shift could make the heat feel more intense for residents across Karachi. Despite the rise, officials noted that temperatures should still stay within the normal range expected for the month of October.

Today the city is seeing partly cloudy skies with southwesterly winds blowing at speeds of 10 to 20 kilometres per hour. These winds are currently offering some relief, but their effect may weaken as the week progresses.

While Karachi prepares for hotter days, weather patterns elsewhere in the country are also shifting. A fresh westerly weather system is set to influence the upper and northern regions of Pakistan from October 12. Under the impact of this system, several parts of Balochistan are likely to receive rain.

The combination of rising heat in the south and possible rainfall in the west shows how weather conditions can vary widely across the country at the same time. Citizens in Karachi are being advised to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours, and take necessary precautions as temperatures climb.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department continues to monitor the situation closely. Regular updates will help people plan their daily activities better as the warmer spell approaches. With October normally bringing milder conditions, this temporary rise in heat is something residents should prepare for in advance.

Overall, the forecast highlights the need for awareness and simple protective steps while the city experiences these hotter days. Authorities remain focused on keeping the public informed so that everyone can stay safe and comfortable during the expected rise in temperatures.
