Dallas Event Marks Pakistan Victory Day

A large gathering of overseas Pakistanis in Dallas came together to celebrate the first anniversary of Pakistan’s victory in the May 5, 2025 conflict with India during an event titled “Marka e Haq Pakistan, Operation Bunyan un Marsoos, Battle of Truth Victory Day.” The event reflected strong patriotism, unity, and support for Pakistan among the overseas community living in the United States.

Hosted by community leader Abdul Hafeez Khan, the ceremony was filled with energetic chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Army Zindabad.” A large number of Pakistani Americans, business personalities, journalists, and community representatives attended the gathering to honor the country’s achievements and sacrifices.

The event’s chief guests included Nehal Hashmi and Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Chairman Syed Qamar Raza. Officials from the Pakistani diplomatic mission, including Vice Consul General Usher Shahzad, were also present during the celebration.

Speaking to the audience, Nehal Hashmi stated that Pakistan had shown its military strength and national determination to the world. He emphasized that a nation’s true power lies in its ideology and encouraged young Pakistanis to focus on economic progress and national development. He also highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s nuclear capability, calling it a major factor in strengthening the country’s defense.

During his speech, Hashmi paid tribute to legendary PAF pilot Muhammad محمود عالم, recalling his historic achievements during the 1965 war. He added that the future leadership of Pakistan would emerge from the country’s youth.

Meanwhile, Syed Qamar Raza praised overseas Pakistanis for their economic contributions, noting that remittances reached billions of dollars last year. He encouraged overseas citizens to continue using legal banking channels to support Pakistan’s economy and reduce financial dependence on international institutions.

The event concluded with special prayers for Pakistan’s peace, prosperity, and national security.
