Field Marshal Asim Munir has reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to achieving lasting peace in Balochistan, emphasizing that all necessary actions are being taken to eliminate terrorism and dismantle any networks that threaten national stability.
During his recent visit to the province, the Army Chief stated that Pakistan will not tolerate any foreign-backed proxies or anti-state elements attempting to spread unrest. He highlighted that these groups, often supported by hostile external forces, are being targeted through intelligence-based operations, tight border monitoring, and community engagement programs aimed at maintaining peace and security.
Field Marshal Munir praised the courage and patriotism of the people of Balochistan, acknowledging their sacrifices and resilience. He noted that the province’s citizens remain central to Pakistan’s progress and unity, and assured that both the government and armed forces are working to provide equal opportunities for all.
He also stressed that development and peace must progress together, citing ongoing efforts in infrastructure building, education, and youth empowerment initiatives.
Reiterating his message, the Army Chief stated, “Our mission is clear: to bring stability, unity, and development to every part of Balochistan.” His remarks reflect Pakistan’s broader vision of a peaceful, secure, and prosperous nation.
