Asim Munir Says Terrorism Cannot Stop Pakistan

Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir has said that externally supported terrorism, fake propaganda, and misinformation campaigns cannot stop Pakistan’s growth and stability. During his visit to Quetta, the army chief addressed officers, faculty members, and troops stationed in Balochistan. He stressed that the nation remains strong despite ongoing security challenges and hostile narratives spread against the country.

According to the military’s media wing, the field marshal first visited the prestigious Command and Staff College where he praised the institution for maintaining high educational and professional standards. He appreciated the officers graduating from the college, stating that they continue to serve the country with dedication, discipline, and professionalism.

While speaking about the changing nature of modern warfare, Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the importance of adapting to new military technologies, multi domain operations, and coordinated defence strategies. He advised officers and soldiers to remain fully prepared for future battlefield challenges through continuous training and operational readiness.

During his interaction with troops deployed across Balochistan, the army chief reviewed the overall security situation and reaffirmed the commitment of the Pakistan Armed Forces to eliminate terrorism from the country. He said anti Pakistan elements and externally backed groups attempting to create instability would ultimately fail because of the resilience of the state and unity of the people.

The field marshal also emphasized that long term peace in Balochistan depends not only on security measures but also on inclusive development, public welfare, and stronger relationships between the government and local communities. He appreciated the efforts of the provincial government for promoting socio economic growth and improving public trust.

At the end of the visit, the army chief praised the high morale, professionalism, and preparedness of the officers and troops serving in the province.
