Punjab’s Information Minister Azma Bukhari has stated that the province is moving toward a new phase of efficient, transparent, and accountable governance under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision of a modern and secure Punjab.
Speaking at a ceremony in Lahore on Monday, she highlighted that the Chief Minister’s Free WiFi initiative reflects the government’s commitment to empowering citizens through improved digital access.
She added that the introduction of a virtual police station marks a major advancement in public service delivery. Azma Bukhari also described the Smart Safe City project as a key achievement in enhancing urban security, saying it will significantly strengthen crime prevention efforts across the province.
