Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the recent suicide bombing outside the Islamabad District Courts, attributing responsibility to Indian-sponsored terrorist networks. The tragic explosion claimed 12 lives and injured 21 others, leaving several victims in serious condition.
Emergency and security teams responded immediately, securing the area and transferring the wounded to nearby hospitals for urgent treatment. PM Shehbaz expressed deep grief over the incident and extended condolences to the families of those affected, directing authorities to ensure the best medical care for the injured.
Calling it a cowardly act meant to destabilize peace, the prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s firm resolve to combat terrorism in all forms. He stressed that such attacks would not shake national unity but instead strengthen Pakistan’s determination to fight against elements promoting violence and instability.
PM Shehbaz also demanded a thorough investigation to identify the culprits, urging the international community to take notice of India’s alleged involvement in supporting cross-border terrorism.
Security agencies have initiated an extensive operation to track down those behind the attack. The government reaffirmed that Pakistan remains steadfast in ensuring national security and will continue its mission to maintain regional stability despite external threats.
