Swedish mural artist Domi Forrest has made a striking debut in Pakistan, bringing her nature-inspired and symbolic art to Karachi during the World Culture Festival. Known for blending mythology, nature, and human emotion, her breathtaking murals have added a new creative spirit to the city’s thriving art scene.

Reflecting on her first-ever trip, Forrest described her visit as “an amazing one full of positive energy and kindness.” She shared that she felt deeply inspired by the warm hospitality, creativity, and enthusiasm of the people she met in Pakistan.

Her new murals showcase a blend of Scandinavian symbolism and emotional storytelling. One artwork features a Viking boat representing strength and exploration, bear paws symbolizing safety and masculinity, and a fetus depicting the origin of life. Forrest emphasized that “the eyes are a window to the soul,” explaining how her work bridges the spiritual and natural worlds through artistic expression.

As part of the World Culture Festival’s art exchange program, Forrest’s visit aims to promote cross-cultural understanding and creative collaboration among global artists. The event, which gathers creators from over 140 countries, celebrates diversity and artistic unity.

Her murals now stand as symbols of friendship and creativity, marking her first visit to Pakistan as a memorable milestone filled with mutual inspiration between Sweden and Pakistan’s art communities.
