The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially announced the SSC Part II Science Group Results 2026, with an impressive 80.87% pass percentage recorded in this year’s annual matriculation examinations. Thousands of students across Karachi received their results after weeks of anticipation.
According to BSEK officials, a total of 176,152 students registered for the Class 10 Science Group examinations, while 175,200 candidates appeared in the exams. Out of those who took the papers, 141,688 students successfully passed, whereas 29,655 candidates were unable to clear the examinations.
The board also released the grade distribution for successful candidates. A total of 35,529 students secured the prestigious A1 grade, while 51,022 candidates achieved an A grade. Meanwhile, 34,910 students earned a B grade, and 17,153 students were placed in the C grade category.
Although the overall result reflects a strong performance by students, this year’s examination process remained surrounded by controversy. During the examination period, numerous allegations surfaced regarding paper leaks, bribery, administrative failures, and examination centre mismanagement.
Earlier investigations confirmed several irregularities, including the relocation of more than 170 examination centres during the examination schedule. Many students who had already appeared in multiple papers at one centre were later instructed to report to different locations through official notifications, causing confusion and inconvenience.
Security concerns also emerged after reports claimed that some students managed to bring weapons into examination centres. Additionally, candidates complained about poor facilities, including broken fans, electricity outages, overcrowded rooms, and inadequate examination arrangements.
Further allegations suggested that some students were assigned examination centres located far from their schools, while questions were also raised over the establishment of home centres at certain educational institutions in violation of examination regulations.
Despite these challenges, the BSEK SSC Part II Science Group Results 2026 show that a large majority of students successfully completed their matriculation examinations. The board is expected to continue reviewing administrative procedures to improve transparency, examination management, and student facilities in future examination sessions.
