Pakistan Women delivered a stunning all round performance to secure a 133 run victory over Zimbabwe in the third and final T20I at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi. With this commanding win, Pakistan completed a 3-0 series whitewash, showing complete dominance throughout the series.
The match was highlighted by brilliant batting performances from captain Fatima Sana and Saira Jabeen, who both smashed impressive half centuries to guide Pakistan to a massive total of 223/4 in 20 overs. Fatima Sana played an explosive innings, scoring 62 runs from just 19 balls, including 10 boundaries and two sixes. Saira Jabeen also impressed with an unbeaten 50 off 32 deliveries, helping Pakistan finish strongly in the final overs.
Pakistan’s opening pair of Muneeba Ali and Ayesha Zafar provided an aggressive start, adding 58 runs during the powerplay. Ayesha entertained the crowd with a quickfire 45, while Muneeba contributed 22 runs. Later, Iram Javed added valuable runs before the middle order accelerated the innings in dominant fashion.
In reply, Zimbabwe struggled badly against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack. Chasing a huge target of 224, the visitors were bowled out for just 90 runs in 17.1 overs. Left handed batter Kelis Ndhlovu fought hard with a rapid 32 off 13 balls, but she received little support from the rest of the batting lineup.
Spinner Sadia Iqbal starred with the ball for Pakistan, taking three wickets for only 20 runs. Nashra Sandhu also delivered an economical spell and claimed two wickets, while Fatima Sana, Tuba Hassan, and Rameen Shamim chipped in with important breakthroughs.
The impressive victory reflects Pakistan Women’s growing confidence and strength in T20 cricket. The series sweep will give the team huge momentum and confidence ahead of upcoming international competitions.
