The Government of Pakistan has introduced a special educational tour to Türkiye for top-performing matriculation students from all educational boards. Announced by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), the initiative aims to reward academic excellence and provide young achievers with international exposure.
Organized by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, the program will send selected students abroad on official passports, recognizing them as part of an official delegation.
Eligibility and Requirements
The IBCC has outlined strict conditions for participation. Students must provide a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital and submit parental consent. They are also required to prepare two white shalwar kameez suits with matching shoes, while the ministry will supply an official green blazer. Only one shoulder bag will be allowed, with laptops and cameras prohibited. Contact details of guardians must also be submitted in advance.
Travel and Expenses
To ensure convenience, each educational board will cover the pick-and-drop costs of its selected students. Boards are directed to provide timely arrangements and complete guidance for participants.
Deadlines and Coordination
All BISEs must submit the required passports and documents of eligible students to the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad by September 19, 2025. Chairpersons of the boards are tasked with overseeing documentation, supervising processes, and ensuring smooth execution.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to celebrating academic achievements and promoting cultural exchange. The tour to Türkiye is expected to reward outstanding students while strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two nations.
