Pakistani security forces executed targeted aerial strikes against hostile terrorist hideouts located inside Afghanistan, eliminating at least 22 militants tied to hostile factions. According to official statements from the Information Ministry, the strategic air operations were carried out under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq to neutralize dangerous militant networks and dismantle their operational capabilities. Intelligence-backed raids accurately hit verified terrorist bases at two distinct locations used by Fitna al-Khawarij and affiliated groups. Security officials confirmed that precision weapons wiped out militant camps, heavy weapons caches, and huge stockpiles of stored ammunition. Officials emphasized that counterterrorism operations took extreme care during planning to ensure zero collateral damage occurred to innocent civilians residing nearby. This military action follows recent cross-border tensions where Pakistani border defenses intercepted multiple hostile drones entering national airspace from Afghan soil. Authorities reiterated that safeguarding national sovereignty and protecting local citizens remain top priorities for state security forces. The ongoing counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam will proceed at full speed until external threats targeting regional stability are completely eradicated. In parallel domestic actions, intelligence-based operations successfully eliminated six armed insurgents in Balochistan’s Kachhi district through quadcopter strikes under Operation Radd-ul-Fitan 3. Simultaneously, security teams dismantled underground militant tunnels and complex explosive networks in North Waziristan. Cross-border insurgent activity has surged dramatically along vulnerable border regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since 2021. Despite regular diplomatic dialogue, the Taliban government has failed to restrict militant groups operating freely across the border. Islamabad continues to press Kabul for decisive action against illegal terror sanctuaries to ensure long-term regional peace and mutual security.
