The sports community in Pakistan is mourning the heartbreaking loss of national karate player Arzoo Haider Ali, who passed away after suffering severe injuries in a tragic accident. The young athlete had been fighting for her life in a private hospital in Quetta, where she was admitted to the intensive care unit following a serious fall from her scooty last week.

According to officials, Arzoo Haider Ali was on her way to participate in a karate championship at Ayub Sports Complex when the accident occurred. The fall resulted in critical head injuries, leaving her in a fragile condition from the very beginning. Despite the efforts of medical staff and continuous treatment, she could not recover and tragically succumbed to her injuries.

Arzoo was not just another athlete; she was a proud representative of Balochistan who had brought recognition to her province through her remarkable achievements. She had secured gold and silver medals at National Games, making her one of the promising talents in Pakistan’s karate scene. Her dedication, discipline, and passion for the sport made her an inspiration for many young athletes across the country.

Earlier, Balochistan Sports Secretary Durra Baloch, under the direction of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, visited the hospital to check on her condition. During the visit, he met with Arzoo’s family and assured them of full government support for her treatment. The Sports Department had been closely monitoring her health and providing assistance throughout her hospitalization.

The sudden demise of Arzoo Haider Ali has left a deep void in Pakistan’s sports fraternity. Fellow athletes, coaches, and fans are expressing grief and paying tribute to her contributions. Her legacy as a dedicated karate player and her achievements will always be remembered.
