Peshawar Zalmi has strengthened its squad ahead of the upcoming season by signing Bangladesh fast bowler Shoriful Islam for PSL 11. The announcement was made through the franchise’s official social media platforms, where Zalmi welcomed the talented pacer with an eye-catching post, highlighting his arrival as a major boost for the team.
The left-arm pacer is set to make his Pakistan Super League debut, bringing with him valuable international and T20 experience. Since making his debut for Bangladesh in 2021, Shoriful Islam has become a key player across all formats. He has represented his country in Tests, ODIs, and T20Is, showcasing consistent performances with the ball.
In T20 cricket, Shoriful has built an impressive record, playing over 150 matches and claiming nearly 200 wickets. His ability to maintain a strong average and controlled economy rate makes him a reliable option in both powerplay and death overs. Additionally, he has been one of the standout performers in the Bangladesh Premier League, ranking among the top wicket-takers in the tournament’s history.
