William Harry rift continues to dominate royal discussions as the once-close relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry remains fractured. The brothers, who previously shared a strong and affectionate bond, are now reportedly not on speaking terms, with tensions escalating over time.
Recent reports suggest that William still harbours resentment toward Harry for publicly discussing private family matters and for making critical remarks about him. Meanwhile, Catherine, Princess of Wales, has often been portrayed as a peacemaker, attempting to ease tensions between the two sons of King Charles III.
However, Royal Editor Russell Myers offered a different perspective on the situation. According to excerpts from his account, it was actually William who was deeply saddened by Harry’s decision to step back from royal duties, while Kate reportedly believed that the brothers’ differing roles as the “heir and the spare” made conflict almost inevitable.
The report claims the siblings had been growing apart for years, and William eventually realised there might be no path to reconciliation. Their once cherished memories, including supporting each other after the tragic death of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, have now been overshadowed by division.
In 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to the United States and stepped down from senior royal roles. Tensions further intensified following the release of their Netflix series Harry & Meghan and Harry’s memoir Spare, both of which included explosive revelations about royal life.
