The International Cricket Council has officially revealed the full ICC T20 commentators panel for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, promising a truly global and high quality broadcast experience for cricket fans around the world. The tournament is set to begin on February 7 in India and Sri Lanka, with the final scheduled for March 8, marking the conclusion of the 10th edition of the marquee event.
In its official announcement, the ICC said that a blend of legendary former players, recent World Cup winners, and current international stars will provide expert analysis and commentary throughout the tournament. The competition will feature 55 matches, all of which will be delivered to broadcasters through a world feed service, ensuring consistent and premium coverage across all regions.
Leading the ICC T20 commentators line-up are some of the most respected voices in cricket broadcasting, including Ravi Shastri, Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, and Ian Bishop. These seasoned commentators will be joined by several former T20 World Cup champions, such as Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Samuel Badree, Robin Uthappa, and Carlos Brathwaite, adding first hand tournament winning insight to the coverage.
The panel also includes high profile current and former international captains. Temba Bavuma, South Africa’s current captain and ICC World Test Championship winning skipper, will feature alongside Angelo Mathews, who lifted the T20 World Cup trophy in 2014.
