The Safe City Authority’s Virtual Center for Child Safety has achieved significant progress in protecting vulnerable children across the province. Officials report that the center has managed over 118,000 child-related cases, with 51,472 children successfully reunited with their families, bringing much-needed relief to parents.

A core element of the center’s success is its use of cutting-edge artificial intelligence to resolve cases quickly. The center efficiently handled 93,120 cases, streamlining the process and improving response times.

In cases involving crimes, the Virtual Center played a critical role, with 18,490 complaints resulting in FIRs, ensuring that legal actions were taken and justice served for affected children.

One of the key components of the center is the “Mera Pyara” program, which keeps detailed records of orphans, abandoned children, or those separated from families. Since its launch, 2,407 children have been registered, and in the past three months alone, 970 children were successfully reunited with their guardians, showing the program’s effectiveness.

The Virtual Center works in close collaboration with the Child Protection Bureau, Edhi Center, and other welfare organizations to provide faster and more coordinated support. The center operates 24/7, with citizens encouraged to report missing or vulnerable children by dialing 15 and pressing 3 for child safety services.

With its advanced systems, strong partnerships, and dedicated staff, the Virtual Center continues to strengthen child protection efforts across the region.
