CAF Compensation Package Raised for Martyrs and Injured

Loading

The federal government has significantly increased compensation for Civil Armed Forces (CAF) personnel who are martyred or injured while serving the country. The Interior Ministry confirmed that the new policy aligns CAF compensation with that of the Islamabad Police, aiming to offer better financial support to the families of those who make sacrifices in the line of duty.

Under the updated policy, the families of CAF martyrs from Grade 1 to Grade 9 will receive 10 million rupees, while officers in Grade 20 and above will receive a compensation of 20 million rupees. These amounts represent a considerable rise from the 2020 rates and are designed to provide more substantial assistance to the families during difficult times.

Additionally, the compensation for injured personnel has also been improved. Those who suffer serious injuries will now receive 200,000 rupees, and personnel with minor injuries will be compensated with 100,000 rupees.

The government’s decision underscores its commitment to supporting the health and welfare of security personnel who risk their lives daily to protect the nation. Officials say this revised compensation structure is part of broader efforts to strengthen the welfare system for all security forces and create uniformity across different departments. The policy is expected to improve morale within CAF and ensure their families are cared for with respect and financial stability.
