Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed its complete support for the kingdom during rising regional tensions. The statement was issued by the Foreign Office of Pakistan after Saudi air defence systems intercepted and destroyed multiple unmanned drones approaching the country.

According to the Foreign Office, the attacks were a serious violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Pakistan described the incident as a dangerous attempt to destabilize the region and undermine peace efforts in the Middle East. The statement added that the government and people of Pakistan stand firmly with Saudi Arabia and support the kingdom’s security, stability, and prosperity during this difficult period.

The development comes amid increasing tensions in the Gulf region following ongoing conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel. Regional security concerns have intensified after repeated drone and missile incidents targeting strategic locations, including energy and civilian infrastructure.

Pakistan also condemned the recent drone strike on the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the United Arab Emirates. Officials in the UAE confirmed that one drone caused a fire near an electrical generator outside the facility, while other drones were intercepted before reaching their targets.

The Foreign Office emphasized that attacks on nuclear facilities violate international law and threaten global nuclear safety standards. Pakistan stated that targeting such installations goes against the principles established under the International Atomic Energy Agency and the United Nations Charter.

Security analysts believe the latest attacks could further increase instability across the Gulf region and raise concerns about broader regional conflict. Pakistan has called for restraint, dialogue, and collective international efforts to maintain peace and avoid escalation.

The government reiterated that peaceful cooperation and respect for sovereignty remain essential for long term regional stability and security.
