The International Cricket Council has officially announced the schedule for the U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, which Zimbabwe and Namibia will co-host from January 15 to February 6, 2026. The global tournament will feature 16 teams, divided into four groups, following the same structure seen in previous editions, with 41 matches taking place over 23 action-packed days.

The opening day brings high-energy matchups as India face the USA, Zimbabwe take on Scotland, and Tanzania meet the West Indies. Tanzania will make its debut, while Japan returns after last competing in 2020. The Super Six stage will follow the group round, where the top three teams from each group advance into two combined groups that determine the semifinalists.

Knockout matches include two semi-finals and a final, with reserve days allocated to avoid disruptions. Matches will be played across renowned venues such as Harare Sports Club, Takashinga Sports Club, Queens Sports Club, Namibia Cricket Ground, and HP Oval.

ICC Chairman Jay Shah expressed excitement, highlighting the tournament’s history of producing future superstars like Brian Lara, Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, and Steve Smith. He emphasized the event’s importance in shaping the next generation of cricket icons.

Teams will begin arriving on January 8, with warm-ups scheduled from January 9 to 14.
