Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) witnessed a wave of celebrations as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officially announced Sohail Afridi as the new Chief Minister of the province. The announcement sparked fireworks, flag-waving rallies, and festive gatherings across cities including Peshawar, Mardan, and Swat, reflecting widespread enthusiasm among supporters.
Afridi’s appointment follows the resignation of Ali Amin Gandapur, who stepped down at the direction of PTI founder Imran Khan.
