At the Gaza Peace Agreement signing ceremony in Sharm El Sheikh, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif once again nominated U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, applauding his leadership in promoting global peace and diplomacy.
PM Shehbaz hailed Trump as a “man of peace,” commending his crucial efforts in preventing conflicts between Pakistan and India and his significant role in achieving peace in Gaza and other long-troubled regions. He credited Trump’s timely diplomacy with saving millions of lives worldwide.
Highlighting the Gaza peace deal as a historic moment of unity, the Prime Minister emphasized how countries worked together beyond political lines for humanitarian progress.
Shehbaz extended heartfelt appreciation to leaders from Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE for their support in facilitating the agreement, calling their cooperation a symbol of hope for a more peaceful Middle East.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan remains committed to global stability and humanitarian values, supporting all initiatives that reduce conflict and foster harmony. The Gaza Peace Agreement, he added, stands as a beacon of collaboration and peacebuilding for nations worldwide.
