The Pakistan Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast indicating mostly dry conditions across Pakistan, with chances of thunderstorms and hailstorms in selected regions. While much of the country will experience stable weather, some areas may face strong winds and sudden rainfall during the afternoon.
In Islamabad, the weather is expected to remain dry, with partly cloudy skies developing later in the evening and night. Residents are unlikely to see rainfall but may notice a slight change in cloud cover.
Across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts will stay dry. However, isolated areas such as Kohat, Bannu, Tank, and Dera Ismail Khan could experience thunderstorms with strong winds, along with possible hailstorms in the afternoon. These conditions may cause brief disruptions in daily activities.
In Punjab, the majority of districts will also remain dry. Still, areas including Bhakkar, Jhang, Layyah, Khanewal, and Dera Ghazi Khan may witness isolated thunderstorms and hailstorms. Meanwhile, tourist spots like Murree and Galiyat are expected to enjoy pleasant, partly cloudy weather without significant rainfall.
The province of Sindh will continue to experience dry weather conditions across most districts, with no major weather disturbances expected.
In Balochistan, scattered regions such as Quetta, Zhob, and Gwadar could face thunderstorms and hailstorms, particularly during the afternoon hours. These weather patterns may be accompanied by gusty winds, making conditions unpredictable.
Lastly, regions like Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are expected to see dry to partly cloudy weather throughout the day.
Overall, while the country will mostly remain dry, localized storms and hail could impact certain areas, urging residents to stay cautious and prepared.
