Pakistan’s technology sector marked a historic breakthrough as its IT exporters officially entered the Kuwaiti market for the first time.

A 17-member delegation of leading Pakistani tech companies, under the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), participated in the Pakistan-Kuwait Tech Conference 2025, a milestone event for the nation’s digital progress. The conference, held in Kuwait, was jointly organized by the Embassy of Pakistan and the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) to strengthen digital trade and innovation partnerships between the two countries.

Pakistani firms showcased expertise in artificial intelligence, fintech, healthtech, and enterprise software, demonstrating their readiness to compete in the global technology arena. With Kuwait’s ICT sector valued at $22.48 billion, the event created strong opportunities for collaboration and investment.

The conference also facilitated meetings between Pakistani exporters and Kuwaiti investors, tech entrepreneurs, and officials, paving the way for future partnerships and economic cooperation.

Officials from PSEB expressed optimism that this initiative will boost export diversification, create new jobs, and enhance Pakistan’s global IT presence. This successful expansion into Kuwait signifies Pakistan’s growing influence in the Gulf tech market and its commitment to shaping the regional digital economy.
