General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of Pakistan, recently completed an important official visit to Saudi Arabia, where he met with the Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces. Their discussion centered on regional peace, security, and expanding defense cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
During the visit, General Mirza was awarded the King Abdulaziz Medal of Honor, one of the highest civilian and military distinctions in Saudi Arabia. The award recognizes his outstanding contributions to strengthening defense relations and promoting mutual trust and collaboration between the armed forces of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
