Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed that Pakistan’s territorial integrity and the protection of its people will remain an unshakable priority for the nation’s armed forces. Speaking at the National Security Workshop, he emphasized that safeguarding the country’s borders is not only a strategic duty but also a national responsibility that the military continues to uphold with unwavering commitment.
In his address, the Field Marshal outlined the extensive efforts being made to counter terrorism, curb smuggling networks, and confront emerging security challenges. He noted that Pakistan faces a complex security environment, where threats have evolved beyond traditional warfare. Despite these challenges, the armed forces remain fully prepared to neutralize dangers that may compromise national stability or public safety.
He further stressed the significance of unity, discipline, and professionalism within the armed forces. According to him, lasting peace can only be achieved when institutions work together toward shared objectives. This includes close coordination between the military, federal authorities, and provincial administrations to ensure smooth implementation of security measures across the country.
Field Marshal Munir also highlighted that collaboration, mutual trust, and collective responsibility are the foundations of national strength. With consistent efforts and strong unity, Pakistan can secure long-term peace, resilience, and prosperity for future generations.
