In a tragic yet heroic incident, six policemen were martyred and five terrorists eliminated after a cowardly terrorist attack targeted the Police Training School in Dera Ismail Khan. The assailants, linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Khwarij, attempted to breach the school’s perimeter using an explosive-laden vehicle.
The vigilant Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on duty responded swiftly, foiling the attack and engaging the militants in an intense exchange of fire. Three terrorists were killed immediately by police personnel, while the remaining two were cornered and neutralized during a precision clearance operation by security forces.
Despite the attackers’ brutality, the brave policemen stood firm, embracing martyrdom while protecting their comrades and civilians. According to ISPR, the terrorists also attacked a mosque inside the complex, desecrating the holy site and killing the Imam, an innocent civilian serving in the mosque.
The attack left twelve policemen and one civilian injured, while sanitization operations continue in the area to ensure complete security.
Authorities reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their mission to eradicate terrorism and defend the nation’s peace. The sacrifices of these brave heroes will forever stand as a testament to Pakistan’s unwavering resolve against foreign-sponsored terror.
