Pakistan’s IT Minister, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, has confirmed that Apple is officially entering the Pakistani market in December 2025, marking a historic milestone for the country’s technology sector.
The tech giant will make its debut through a partnership with Air Link, a leading distributor and retailer of smartphones, smart TVs, and wearables in Pakistan. This collaboration will lead to the launch of the country’s first official Apple Store, a development eagerly awaited by both consumers and industry experts.
Until now, Apple products in Pakistan were only available through unofficial resellers, often resulting in problems related to pricing, warranty, and after-sales services. With Apple’s official entry, customers will now enjoy authentic products, official warranties, and professional customer support directly from certified sources.
The minister described this as a significant boost for Pakistan’s digital economy, reflecting growing global confidence in the country’s market potential. The move is also expected to reduce counterfeit products and unregulated pricing, creating a safer and more transparent shopping environment.
The first official Apple Store will open next month, offering the complete range of products such as iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories. Experts believe this entry will enhance competition, improve customer service standards, and could eventually lead to Apple launching more localized services in Pakistan.
