Chasing a modest target of 146, Zalmi had an early setback when opener Mohammad Haris was dismissed quickly. However, captain Babar Azam and Kusal Mendis steadied the innings with a crucial partnership, helping the team recover and build momentum. Babar once again proved his class, finishing as the top scorer with 43 runs, anchoring the chase with composure.

Zalmi’s bowlers, especially Iftikhar Ahmed and Sufiyan Muqeem, dominated the innings by sharing eight wickets, restricting the opposition effectively.
