A shocking kidnapping and sexual assault case has surfaced in Lahore, where police arrested five suspects for allegedly abducting and torturing two foreign women. The case has gained major attention because the main accused, Muhammad Raza Dar, is reportedly the grandson of a well-known political figure.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed at Defence C Police Station, the victims belong to the Netherlands and Venezuela. Police said the women had traveled to Pakistan after being invited by Raza Dar, who had earlier entered into a business partnership with them in Singapore in October 2025.
The victims landed in Lahore on June 29, 2026, after their visas were arranged by the suspect. Soon after their arrival, they were allegedly taken to a house in Y Block Defence against their will. The FIR states that the women were held at gunpoint, physically abused, and subjected to severe violence.
Investigators revealed that the accused demanded $1.5 million from the victims and threatened to kill them if the money was not arranged. They also reportedly warned of horrific consequences, including selling their body parts.
The situation changed when one of the women managed to secretly contact her father in the Netherlands. He immediately informed Lahore Police through the emergency 15 helpline, which triggered a quick rescue operation. Within two hours, police successfully recovered both victims and arrested the suspects.
A senior police official confirmed that the investigation is being carried out with full transparency and without political pressure. Authorities said the victims have recorded their statements before a magistrate. Although they had return flights booked, police requested them to stay one extra day to support the investigation, with all expenses covered by the department.
The case has raised serious concerns about women’s safety, international trust, and criminal accountability in Pakistan.
